Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Includes one 30-minute unpaid meal break and two 15-minute paid rest breaks

SALARY RANGE: $37.34 to $64.29 per hour / $77,966 to $134,238 annually (2024-2025 salary guidelines)

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
The person in this position manages the daily operations of the IT department, supervising the information technology staff to ensure the department operates at an optimal level. The individual assists with the planning and execution of strategic plans for college technology services, including infrastructure, security, classrooms, and IT systems. The person serves as the Salesforce administrator. The person reports to and advises the Dean of Educational Services / Chief Information Officer on new technology, current technology needs, purchases, and potential technology risks.
Minimum Qualifications: (expected to have to enter job)
• Five years of experience in technology practices such as system administration, cybersecurity, infrastructure, network, or a related Information Technology field. A Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field from an accredited institution can substitute for one year of experience; an Associate degree in a related field can substitute for six months of experience.
• Three years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of techniques for analyzing business requirements and developing solutions that meet needs while maintaining a secure and stable environment.
• Development of computer infrastructure including servers, storage, switches, and operating systems to run applications and user computers.
• Skilled in project management and strategic planning, with a proven ability to develop and implement comprehensive plans for infrastructure, classroom, and business applications.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with a track record of success in developing planning documents and reports such as proposals, budget request justifications, and annual reports.
Preferred Qualifications: (desired but not expected to have to enter job)
• A Master’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Experience managing higher education CRM platforms.
• Knowledge of MnSCU and ATCC policies, procedures, and programs.
• Experience with best practices in implementing and maintaining the NIST 800-171 framework.
