Compensation & Benefits

 Wage: 7-step scale from $31.73 to $39.69/hour (experience determines initial step).

 Raises: Yearly cost-of-living increases.

 Insurance: 100% employer-paid individual health insurance; family coverage is subsidized.

Requirements

 Minimum: Associate’s degree (A.A.) in criminal justice.

 Preferred: Bilingual skills and prior law enforcement experience (not mandatory).
